2025 VW Jetta

The Volkswagen Jetta has been around since 1979, serving as VW’s flagship sedan. Since its inception, the Jetta has offered a spacious, reliable daily driver at a reasonable price. That core ethos has kept drivers coming back for over forty years. A lot has changed in that time, but the Jetta continues to shine, offering new features and technology while sticking to a price point that doesn’t break the bank. 2025 sees the rollout of several updates and new features as the Jetta gets a refresh that impacts the exterior, interior, and features available across the trim levels. We’ll break down what’s new and what you can expect from the different trim levels. Before we look at what’s changed, let’s look at what remains the same. The Jetta carries over its powertrain from 2024, a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The engine is married to an eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers that power to the front axle. The highlight of the Jetta isn’t thrilling speed; it has an excellent fuel economy. The Jetta gets 29 mpg on city streets and 39 mpg on the open road. Test drive the 2025 VW Jetta for sale with Bob Moore Volkswagen today!

2025 Volkswagen Jetta Updates

Changes for 2025 start with the refreshed fascia, which presents a new grille and LED headlamps. A light bar stretches across the grille of most trim levels, matching a standard light bar that bridges the taillights on the new trunk lid. Sticking to the exterior, new wheels include 17-inch or 18-inch aluminum alloy options or new black-wheel packages for select trim levels. We also see two new exterior paint options join the lineup: Monterey Blue Pearl and Monument Gray. All the exterior changes serve to give the exterior a more upscale feel.

The interior gets updates to match the enhanced exterior, featuring a new dashboard design and new color options. The Jetta adopts a three-bar design flowing across the upper dash, incorporating air vents and directing attention to the new touchscreen infotainment system. An eight-inch floating display replaces the previous 6.5-inch screen, offering an easier overall experience. 2025 Volkswagen Jetta Trim Levels

This year, the Jetta is offered in four trim levels. Let’s compare the 2025 VW Jetta Trim Levels:

2025 Volkswagen Jetta S

The entry-level Jetta S is the most affordable configuration but still offers some useful amenities. Its exterior features 16-inch alloy wheels, while its interior has some more helpful features. Rain-sensing windshield wipers, an eight-inch digital cockpit and an eight-inch infotainment display are all standard, as is Volkswagen’s driver assistance package, IQ.Drive. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto both come standard, as do the Emergency Assist and Travel Assist features. The leather-wrapped steering wheel completes the interior.

2025 Volkswagen Jetta Sport

The Sport offers all the features of the S but starts making some improvements inside and out. The exterior features an integrated light bar stretching across the front girl, while a black headliner and exterior help the Sport live up to its name. The interior is a bit more posh, too, offering heated front seats for those cold morning commutes. Other features to note include stainless steel pedal caps and an XDS Cros Differential System.

2025 Volkswagen Jetta SE

The SE focuses on delivering more technology to your cabin. Remote engine start and keyless access with push-button start are added to this model, making life a bit more convenient. The SE also unlocks wireless access with a wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. SiriusXM, CloudTex seats, and a power driver seat also join the SE lineup.

2025 Volkswagen Jetta SEL

The SEL is the benchmark for features in a Jetta, offering the most amenities of the lineup. It borders on luxury with ventilated front seats and a memory driver seat. The rear row of seats and the steering wheel also get heat. Cloth and CloudTex seats are replaced by leather, while a 10.25-inch configurable infotainment center replaces the 8-inch infotainment screen. Other features to note include a sunroof, a BeatsAudio premium stereo and 18-inch wheels.
