Bob Moore Volkswagen Join The VW Club of Oklahoma for The 11th Annual Old Volks Show

This Fall, the Volkswagen Club of Oklahoma hosted its 11th annual Old Volks show in Mustang, Oklahoma! The Old Volks show allows VW enthusiasts to show off their classic models, from iconic bugs to old-school Minibusses. Attendees see Volkswagens from across the decades, most restored and as shiny as the day they drove off the lot several years ago. Several models featured custom paint jobs, from psychedelic colors popping off the minibusses to crisp lines across custom dual paint jobs. This year, attendees could camp on the grounds in their VWs or non-VW campers. Folks could camp all weekend long in tents, hammocks, or their Minibus. The VW Club of Oklahoma is active in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Norman, and the surrounding neighborhoods, bringing old-school VWs to you!

While it doesn’t have the history of some of the other vehicles on the lot, the Golf and its sportier sibling, the Golf R have a cult following of their own. Loved by street racers for their customization options and by everyday families who appreciate the extra space of a five-door compact. From the Golf to the Beetle, generations of Volkswagens were there, demonstrating the brand’s cultural impact.

Next Generation of the Minibus

Few models are as instantly recognizable as the VW Minibus. The classic camper bus was loved by California outdoorsmen, hippies, and everyday families. This year, the Minibus returns, sporting a new name and power source but a familiar frame. The 2025 ID.Buzz is set to make its debut, featuring an all-electric engine, a two-tone exterior, and a massive sunroof. The ID.Buzz is the grandchild of the original minibus, drawing heavy influence from the models on display at the VW car show.
