Secure Your VW ID.Buzz at Bob Moore Volkswagen Oklahoma City

The Volkswagen Microbus is an icon of 70’s rock and roll. It evokes road trips, campfires, and time well spent. For us, seeing a VW Microbus brings a wave of nostalgia few other vehicles do. For the first time in 21 years, Volkswagen is bringing the Microbus back to the US, this time sporting an all-electric powertrain! The rebranded 2025 ID.Buzz is completely redesigned but with familiar elements that invoke the Microbuses of old. In the new iteration of the Microbus, you’ll find cutting-edge technology, a versatile cabin design, and an efficient electric powertrain. We expect to get the VW Buzz to hit our lots in October of 2024. If you want to be the first to drive the electric VW Microbus in Oklahoma, use our order form at the bottom of the page to secure your 2025 ID.Buzz today!

2025 ID.Buzz Specs & Electric Performance

While the ID.Buzz may look familiar, the electric powertrain is anything but. The standard configuration is a single electric motor mounted on the rear axle that generates 282 horsepower, but the dual motor AWD version gets 335 horsepower. The electric motors draw power from a 91 kWh battery pack rumored to get about 260 miles of range per charge. When connected to a DC fast-charger, it can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

Volkswagen ID.Buzz Technology

The technology onboard centers around the 12.9-inch infotainment screen, enabling connection to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. A 10.0-inch digital cluster holds all your key metrics, while a head-up display should also be available. You’ll also find a suite of standard safety and technology features like automatic braking, lanekeeping, and adaptive cruise control. Of the available driver-assist features, we think the most exciting is the remote self-park function that allows you to park your ID.Buzz with your smartphone! Contact VW OKC to learn more about the other features onboard today!

VW ID.Buzz Interior & Design

We think the biggest draw of the ID Buzz is its beautiful retro design. While it has the sleek exterior look that you expect from a modern EV, it’s unmistakably retro. The two-tone exterior paint is available in several colors, as shown below, with Metro Silver, Cabana Blue, and Indium Grey releasing for the first time in the US. While the exterior is old-school, the interior is anything but. You’ll find a comfortable, modern cabin that seats up to seven and has plenty of space for your belongings. At 195 inches long, 78 inches wide, and 75 inches tall, the 128-inch wheelbase supports enough room to utilize as a family van or a camper van you can sleep in. The interior features luxury amenities headlined by air-conditioned massage seats and the largest panoramic sunroof ever installed in a VW. The high-tech sunroof can switch from transparent to opaque with the flick of a switch or via voice command.

VW ID.Buzz Seating, Trims & Configurations

The interior can be configured to meet your needs across three trim levels, as shown below. You can configure the cabin to fit a maximum of seven or prioritize comfort with captain’s seats in the second row, allowing a maximum of six passengers. You also have three different interior packages to choose from, with different aesthetics and moods set by each. Learn more about the available features, design options, and ID.Buzz accessories below!
