Volkswagen was an early adopter to the EV game, debuting the all-electric ID.4 back in 2021. A lot has changed since then, as the ID.4 has continued to perfect its craft, incorporating new software, an updated infotainment system, and plenty more. This year, the ID.4 adds an optional larger display with backlit sliders on all models, plus some extra standard equipment to select trim levels. The Black Package is now available on select trim levels, adding black accents all across the exterior of your ID.4. The ID.4 helps keep costs down by adding different battery options and powertrains, which also broadens the appeal. The Volkswagen EV is one of the more affordable EVs in the space today, but it still manages to offer quality interior space and range. The ID.4 is an ideal first step into EV ownership, perfect for comfortable city commuting. Visit Bob Moore VW from Edmond or Norman to test drive the new Volkswagen ID.4 for sale!
The new ID.4 has two configurations to choose from. The base model is a single motor mounted on the rear axle, making 201 horsepower. It connects to a 58.0-kWh battery, getting 206 miles of range. This model is best limited to a daily commuter due to the lower range. For added flexibility, you’ll want to opt for the dual-motor configuration, which draws power from a 77.0-kWh battery. While horsepower varies throughout the lineup, the dual-motor configuration can range up to 330 horsepower, running from 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds. The larger motor comes in a RWD or AWD setup, with RWD getting you 291 miles of range and the AWD option getting you 263 miles, a much more livable overall range. You can charge your VW ID.4 at home with a 110- or 240-volt connection, as well as all public DC fast chargers. To learn more about the new ID.4’s electric infrastructure, visit our OKC Volkswagen dealership.Â
The Volkswagen ID.4 is a crossover-style SUV, offering an agile driving experience with some extra cargo space in the rear. The trunk has 30.3 cubic feet of cargo volume, increasing to 64.2 cubic feet with the rear row down. For 2025, the ID.4 is available in five trim levels:Â
Each trim level has plenty of features, with the Pro coming with ambient lighting, heated front seats, black roof rails, and plenty more. Upgrading to the S adds ventilated seats, with massage and a memory feature, as well as proximity unlock and a panoramic moonroof. A large 12.0-inch standard infotainment system highlights the ID.4’s cabin, but there is a 12.9-inch display with backlit controls that helps set the ambiance. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Navigation all come standard, as does a 5.3-inch digital gauge you can reconfigure. The ID.4 earned a five-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA, thanks in part to high-quality German engineering, but helped by a robust driver assistance suite, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and pedestrian detection.
